The Wildwood Forest Counseling Program is a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) school. The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) established RAMP in 2003 to promote exemplary school counseling programs. To date, more than 250 schools across the country have received the RAMP designation.
PHILOSOPHY
The following are the beliefs of the Wildwood Forest Counseling program:
The Counselor is available for all students
All students have the right to a safe and welcoming learning environment
The Counselor is an advocate for students
The Counselor will use data to determine program successes and monitor student achievement
The Counselor will abide by the professional school counseling ethics as advocated by the American School Counselor Association
The Counselor will participate in professional development activities to continually improve services and programming
MISSION
The mission of the Wildwood Forest School Counseling program is to provide a supportive learning environment for all students.Programs are comprehensive, developmental and preventative in nature.School Counselors are partners in education who help guide all students to achieve academic, social and personal success.School Counselors work to help students become lifelong learners and responsible citizens for our global community.
