Circulation Policy

  • K-1 students:  1 book at a time

  • 2nd-5th grade students:  2 books at a time

All books are due 2 weeks from the date of check-out.  Students can bring books to the media center to be renewed.  Students who have overdue books are not permitted to check out additional materials until their books are returned or renewed.

We do not assess fines for late books.  However, we do ask that families pay for any lost or damaged materials.

Please feel free to contact Mrs. Bock with any questions at sbock@wcpss.net.

Book Care

Follow these book care tips to keep library materials in good condition:

  • Always carry your library books in a bookbag to protect them from weather.  We recommend carrying them in a plastic grocery bag inside the bookbag to protect them from accidental spills by water bottles and lunches.  Library books must stay dry at all times.

  • Keep books in a safe location at home.  Choose a table, shelf, or other area to consistently keep library books so that you will know right where they are.  Choose a spot where books will be protected from pets and younger siblings.

  • Use a bookmark!  If you need one, ask for one in the library!

  • If you damage a book, return it to us immediately.  We can often repair it and make it good as new!

Welcome to the Wildwood Forest

Media Center!

Wildwood Forest's Media Center is open from 8:45AM-3:45PM Monday-Friday.

Students attend a media/technology class on a fixed schedule.  Students in grades K-5 have media and technology classes on a 6 day rotation.  Additionally, students are encouraged to visit the library any time during the school day with a pass from a teacher.  We also welcome visits from parents and allow them to check out books as well!  Come on in and visit us!
