Meet the Counselors
My name is Aneesah Thomas, and I am the counselor for first through fourth grades at Wildwood Forest Elementary. I graduated from UNC-Wilmington in 2003, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in psychology. I spent five years teaching in elementary settings before obtaining a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from North Carolina Central University. I thoroughly enjoy working with students, providing the support they need to be successful. I consult with parents and teachers, provide individual counseling to students, facilitate groups for students with common needs, and teach lessons in classrooms relating to personal/social development, academic needs, and career development needs of students. I look forward to a wonderful year at Wildwood Forest Elementary. Feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns- "> or 713-0613!
